Kickoff meeting in Rome!
🇮🇹 In May 2025, representatives from all PEEB partner institutions gathered in Rome, Italy, for the project's official kick-off meeting. Bringing together organizations from Italy, Spain, Palestine, and Tunisia, the meeting marked the beginning of a collaborative effort to strengthen blockchain education and digital innovation among entrepreneurs, SMEs, educators, and vocational training providers.
During the event, partners aligned on the project's objectives, implementation strategy, and upcoming activities. Discussions focused on developing an open, multilingual blockchain learning ecosystem that addresses the specific needs of Palestinian and Tunisian entrepreneurs. This ecosystem will include practical blockchain skills development resources for SMEs and start-ups, problem-based learning materials for educators and coaches, and a flexible online training course accessible regardless of location.
The Rome meeting also established the foundation for future cooperation among partners, ensuring a coordinated approach to promoting problem-based learning and practical technology adoption. By emphasizing real-world business challenges, critical thinking, peer collaboration, and self-directed learning, PEEB aims to move beyond simple awareness of blockchain technology and equip business leaders with the knowledge and skills needed to evaluate and apply blockchain solutions within their own organizations.
